Modeling and Simulation

Welcome to the group of Modeling and Simulation at Saarland University

About us

We develop computational methods for the simulation and analysis of complex biological and technical systems. Most of our research projects are located in the broad area of stochastic modeling with a focus on efficient simulation methods for discrete models, stochastic hybrid models, parameter estimation, mean-field analysis, and reinforcement learning in the context of discrete-event simulation.
